Why We Worship

God created us with a purpose, and that purpose is simple yet profound: to worship Him. In Isaiah 43:21, God declares, “The people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise.” We were made for His glory, to reflect His love and greatness. Worship isn’t just something we do—it is the very reason we exist.

From the very beginning, God designed humanity to be in relationship with Him. In this relationship, worship becomes both a response to His goodness and an expression of our love. When we worship, we acknowledge His power, His sovereignty, and His perfect love. Worship isn't confined to singing or church services—it is a lifestyle that encompasses every part of our lives. It’s in the way we live, love, serve, and honor God in all that we do.

As we worship, we become more aligned with God's heart, transforming our thoughts, desires, and actions. Worship leads to spiritual growth, fulfilling the deep, soul-level longings that only God can satisfy. When we give Him the glory, we reflect His image and purpose for our lives.

This month, as you dive into the Bible Reading Plan, take time to reflect on how worship can be a part of every day, not just in moments of praise, but in every thought and action. Use this plan to understand the importance of worship, why we worship, how to worship, and how worship transforms us.
